Essmann Green

Essmann Green is a distinctive Porsche green that was originally created as a bespoke Paint to Sample Plus color before being added to the regular Paint to Sample palette in 2023. It is a rich, saturated green with a clean appearance and no metallic effect, giving the color a strong and vibrant character.

The color was created for longtime Porsche collector Michael Essmann, who had his first Porsche finished in the green used by his family's electrical and photovoltaic business. His 911 Carrera RS 3.6 (964) from 1992 was the first Porsche painted in the shade, followed by several other cars in his collection, including a 911 GT3 RS 4.0 and a 992 911 GT3 Touring.

After initially being available only as a bespoke Paint to Sample Plus color, Porsche formally added Essmann Green to its Paint to Sample range in March of 2023. It became available for the 911, 718 and Taycan model lines, making the color accessible beyond Essmann's own collection.
