Loretta Purple is a soft modern purple created through the collaboration between Porsche and American designer Sean Wotherspoon. The color originally appeared on Wotherspoon’s multi-color Art Car project, alongside Nashy Blue, Sean Peach, and Ashley Green.
Visually, Loretta Purple is a rich purple with a pink undertone, giving it a warm and highly saturated appearance. Depending on lighting, the color can shift between a deeper violet tone and a brighter magenta-like hue.
With all of four of his paints, the name carries a personal meaning. For Loretta Purple Sean Wotherspoon dedicated the shade to his daughter, Loretta.
Following the popularity of the Art Car colors, Loretta Purple became the fourth and final shade from the project to join the Paint to Sample range as part of the May 2026 updates, making it available for wider customer orders.
