Twister Orange

Ford Twister Orange is a bold, high-saturation metallic orange paint introduced by Ford in the mid-2000s, best known for its use on performance-oriented models.

The color first gained attention on the 2007–2009 Ford Mustang, where it was offered as a standout option that contrasted sharply with more traditional reds and blues of the era. Twister Orange is a true metallic finish, featuring fine aluminum flake that gives it strong reflectivity and a pronounced glow in direct sunlight.

Twister Orange sits between classic orange and copper, with a warm yellow base that intensifies under bright light and deepens toward amber in shade. Compared to later Ford oranges, it is less neon and more mature, emphasizing richness and depth rather than outright fluorescence.
