Polarized Grey is a new BMW color introduced with the second-generation iX3 (NA5) in 2025. At first glance, it is a relatively subtle medium to dark gray that could easily be mistaken for an understated solid gray in low light.
Under direct sunlight, however, the paint comes alive with a distinctive purple / pink metallic flake. This adds a subtle touch of color and depth to the otherwise quite restrained gray, giving Polarized Grey a much more interesting appearance when the lighting is right.
